that is something we can all agree on - i'm recording stuff on kqed all the time. Tonight's movie is "Lust for Life" (not Iggy) but Kirk Douglas as Van Gogh w/ Anthony Quinn as Gaugin. Free, classic w/o commercial interruptions. The other week rewatched East of Eden on there, not to mention they are always doing cool music programming.

A man after my own heart. Love both of them in any number of early movies (well, okay, 50s for them). AQ does a great job in Zapata...

I never had a copy of just the audio

I got turned onto it late.. or just at the right time as the case may be... the only copy Ive ever had is the DVD .. but I did rip the audio for my portable player
